Homebrewing your own alchohol is much easier than it would sound, and it baffles me that more people don't do it. Making your own cider, wine, mead or other alchoholic beverages is much cheaper than buying it off the shelf, and while I don't condone drinking too much or too often I do condone saving money, and the sense of achievement when a batch works must be incredible.
On this page I will document my second attempt to create such bevarages, this time I will attempt a hard lemonadeand a honey mead, perhaps more later if I get the chance!
The brew is finished! I put the stuff in the fridge to cold crash and a few days later we had lovely clear alchohol, ive drunk the mead along with my flatmates and got good ratings all around, someone comparing it to Kopparberg pear which is bizzare but accurate and a compliment in my book.
Heres some pictures of what the brew was like as it was being made
